CSUIP
"CSU International Programs" (CSUIP) operates from within the CSU Chancellor's Office and provides affordable opportunities for qualified CSU students to study abroad at universities and other institutions of higher education around the world. The program aims to develop intercultural communication skills and international understanding among CSU students. Students receive residency credit for their participation. Financial aid is available to qualified students.
How it Works: Students interested in CSUIP programs apply directly through CSUIP.
- Your application will be reviewed and, if you meet the minimum qualifications, it will be certified by CSUSB.
- CSUIP staff review all certified applications and select nominees for exchange.
- Some programs receive more applicants than there are spots available at the host institution. You are recommended to list an alternate study abroad location when promoted to do so on the CSUIP application, in case you are not admitted to your first choice.
- Once you are admitted to a program, you will be contacted by CSUSB to complete our registration packet in addition to the CSUIP post-decision requirements.
